Who is the painter?
Self-taught artist
Verzy, France
"Recently, a sea of color has been pouring over my works, and I smile as I look at them. I hope you do too."
Although artistic creation currently remains a complementary activity, Elena's works have already won over private collectors around the world, from Sweden to Taiwan, including Spain and France.
Born in Russia in 1975, Elena has always felt a passion for creation, growing up alongside her father, an amateur artist imbued with his love of drawing since his art school years, with a preference for wood carving as a hobby. Despite this, fate led her towards a career as a printing engineer.
In 2012, she headed to France to begin a new chapter in her life.
It wasn't until the age of 42 that Elena decided to dedicate her time to painting. She began her artistic journey at the Annual Practical Workshops | 2018-2019 at ESAD (École Supérieure d'Art et de Design) in Reims. Her teacher, PEI-LIN CHENG, opened the doors to freedom of expression on canvas, marking a true breakthrough in the art world for Elena.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Elena immersed herself in artistic creation, and has been painting ever since.
Today, she simply finds joy in what she does and continues to develop her own style. She has finally tasted artistic freedom and is no longer afraid to explore new creations.
Her preferred techniques include oil painting with a palette knife, as well as the new naive style, creating textured works by mixing acrylic paint with plaster.
Lately, her paintings have been bursting with color, and she looks at them with a smile. I hope you feel the same joy.
